Founding Partner Michael A. Noonan started his career as Assistant Attorney General for the Ohio Attorney General’s office in 1977. In 1982, he accepted the position as the Assistant to the President and Legal Counsel for Frostburg State University. Upon leaving the university in 1988, Mr. Noonan entered the private practice of law. After two decades in solo practice, Mr. Noonan’s son Beau joined him in 2008 and formed Noonan & Noonan, LLC Attorneys at Law. In 2009, Noonan & Noonan opened its office in Morgantown to accommodate their expansion of services to West Virginia. In 2014, Noonan & Noonan hired former intern Sarah J. Willetts, a licensed attorney in both Maryland and West Virginia. Due to her aptitude and skill, Sarah quickly became partner and Noonan Willetts was born. In 2018, Noonan Willetts moved is headquarters to its current location and opened its fourth office in Essex Junction, VT. With offices in Cumberland and Oakland, MD, Morgantown, WV and Essex Junction, Vermont, Noonan Willetts is positioned to service its clients with a traditional meeting or an efficient e-legal experience.
